Guilvinec Guilvinec often called, is a commune in the department of Finistere in Brittany, France.
Capital of the maritime district of the same name, in 2012 Guilvinec is the first fishing port of France in landed value of French ships.

Guilvinec is located at the tip of Brittany in southern Brittany, in Bigouden. The town is located southwest of Finistère in the township of Pont l'Abbé, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. It is located 12 km southwest of Pont l'Abbé, 31 km southwest of Quimper, the capital district.
